My name is Andy Dickason and I hale from Rochester NY. I started my life as a son of a fireman in the town of Brighton just outside Rochester. I went to public schools about a quarter of a mile down the street from my house (nice walking distance). After school (hated it) I went into the Military (Army). I spent my time during the “cold war” in beautiful Ft. Riley Kansas. I worked a few different jobs (S1, S3). My favorite job was OP4 attached to an artillery unit. After the military I worked at a private club (Monroe Golf club). I took the job for the free golf. I also did armed security of a few different companies. During that time I started volunteering with the same fire department my Dad worked in. I took my first EMT class in 1991 and got a job with National Ambulance in the City (I met Amy in the elevator of Strong Hospital). A lot of shootings and a lot of guts. Next stop was a investigator / fire marshal for ITT Automotive. My title was fire marshal but I was doing covert security for the company spying on other employes. In 1998 I was hired at the same fire department as my father worked at and I am currently working there today.
